Majestic Circus Goes to GENCON!

The excitement is building as the team is preparing for their very first trip to GENCON! For those unfamiliar with it, GENCON is the largest and longest-running tabletop gaming convention in North America, attracting thousands of gaming enthusiasts, creators, and industry professionals from all around the world. As avid game creators, they couldn’t have picked a better event to attend.

GEN CON History:

Since its inception in 1968, GEN CON has grown into a must go event for tabletop gamers, providing a platform for creators to showcase their latest games, participate in tournaments, attend workshops, and connect with like-minded individuals. Held annually in Indianapolis, Indiana, GEN CON offers a diverse range of tabletop gaming experiences, from board games and card games to role-playing games and miniatures.

The Perfect Place for Game Creators:

GEN CON has become the ultimate destination for game creators like the Majestic Circus. It presents a unique opportunity to immerse in the gaming community, meet other designers and publishers, and gain valuable insights and inspiration. Having supported various Kickstarter campaigns themselves, We are eager to meet the teams behind some of the games we’ve backed. GENCON will provide the perfect environment to connect face-to-face with fellow creators and share the passion for game development. Moreover, we hope to explore and back new projects while mingling with the vibrant gaming community.

How we are gonna get there:

Jake will be embarking on a road trip from Minnesota, so we have a car in Indianapolis (Plus he likes being on the road). Meanwhile, Kevin will be flying in from Buffalo, with the new prototypes of the MC game in tow so that we can play the game a few times with friend in Indianapolis.

Mark Your Calendars:

GENCON 2023 is set to take place from August 3rd to August 6th. Keep an eye out for an update from Majestic Circus there will definitely be a post after each day of the conference if possible as Jake and Kevin chronicle their adventures at the convention. They can’t wait to share their experiences, discoveries, and the joy of being a part of the vibrant gaming community.
